Entering Relationship With Psilocybin

There are moments when something in your life begins to ask for your attention.

The familiar ways of moving no longer feel aligned, or a quiet knowing begins to surface, asking for honesty, care, and a willingness to listen more closely.

You may find yourself here in a moment like this.

Perhaps you are moving through grief, standing at the edge of a life transition, or sensing something unresolved that is ready to be met.

Perhaps there is a pull toward remembrance, toward reconnecting with what feels essential, or toward meeting yourself with more clarity and presence.

Choosing to work with psilocybin at these thresholds can open a way of meeting what is already present within you, often with greater awareness, emotional movement, and a renewed sense of connection.

These sessions offer licensed psilocybin facilitation in Eugene, Oregon, held within the state’s legal framework and guided by presence, reverence, and relational care.

Preparation, ceremony, and integration move together as one continuous unfolding.

Preparation

Preparation creates a steady and supportive foundation.

We begin by listening.

There is space to become familiar with what is present in your life and what you are bringing into this work, including your intentions, questions, and lived experiences.

This may include:

What is asking for attention or change
Your intentions and important questions
Emotional and relational themes
Your lived experiences and current thresholds
What feels supportive and what does not

Preparation also includes all required Oregon Health Authority OHA steps.

Consent forms, safety planning, service agreements, and required protocols are reviewed together in a clear and integrated way.

By the time you enter ceremony, there is a shared understanding of the structure, your choices, and how the space is held.

Preparation is already part of integration. What you are noticing and feeling is part of the unfolding.

Ceremony

Ceremony is a structured and intentional space where you engage directly with your experience.

You arrive with intentions, questions, or areas of your life that feel important. These offer orientation and a place to begin.

At the same time, the experience unfolds in its own way. It is common for unexpected material to arise, and there is room for what is ready to come forward.

You are welcome to bring meaningful items into the space, such as personal objects, photographs, or anything that supports your sense of connection.

The environment is prepared with care and remains responsive to your needs throughout the session.

My approach is non directive.

I remain present, attentive, and aware of your safety.
I do not guide or interpret your inner experience.
I companion you as you move through what is unfolding.

Your autonomy remains intact throughout the entire session.
You choose pacing, sound, movement, and how you engage with the experience.

Sound is available as part of the space.

You may choose
recorded music
live sound or vocal presence
or a combination of both

Silence is also honored.

As the experience deepens, changes in perception and awareness often arise.

Common experiences include:

shifts in body sensation or temperature
emotional movement, including grief, joy, or release
memories or personal material coming into awareness
imagery, symbolic content, or dream like sequences
a sense of connection to self, others, or the natural world
periods of stillness, spaciousness, or quiet

Each experience is unique.

What comes forward often reflects what is most present or ready to be met.

There is no need to force or resolve what arises.
There is space to remain present with what is here.

Intention and openness move together.

You arrive with what matters to you.
You remain open to how the experience takes shape.

Integration

Integration is where the experience continues within your daily life.

There is space to reflect on what emerged and how it is moving within you over time.

Integration sessions create room for:

Staying in relationship with emotional and physical shifts
Recognizing what feels clearer or newly accessible
Reconnecting with body awareness, intuition, and natural rhythm
Noticing how insights begin to live within daily life
Exploring practices that feel supportive to your ongoing experience

The days and weeks following ceremony often carry a sense of openness, where experiences continue to settle and reorganize.

Integration unfolds over time.

A Reverent Practice

This work is held with great honor, respect and gratitude for Indigenous Wisdom Keepers and Plant Allies. For centuries, Indigenous cultures have worked with psilocybin-containing mushrooms as sacred medicine, using it to guide souls, heal emotional wounds, and connect to the divine.

In honoring these traditions, I approach every session with humility, care, and a commitment to ethical practice. By integrating ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic techniques, we create a bridge between worlds, honoring the past while navigating the present.

The Science and Mystery of Psilocybin

Psilocybin is a naturally occurring compound found in certain mushrooms. In the body, it becomes psilocin, which interacts with serotonin receptors involved in mood, perception, and awareness.

During this time, communication across the brain becomes more fluid. Areas that do not usually connect begin to exchange information, often opening new perspectives and emotional access.

Research from institutions such as Johns Hopkins University, New York University, and University of California San Francisco suggests that psilocybin may support people experiencing depression, end of life distress, anxiety, and grief.

Psilocybin is associated with a softening of the brain’s default mode network, which is linked to repetitive thinking and rigid patterns. At the same time, there is increased neuroplasticity, allowing for new connections and new ways of relating to what is being experienced.

In periods of prolonged stress, depression, or trauma, patterns in the brain can become more fixed over time. This may be felt as narrowing, where thoughts, emotional responses, or ways of relating begin to repeat and feel harder to shift. In some cases, this is associated with reduced neural flexibility or atrophy in certain pathways.

Within a psilocybin session, these patterns can loosen, creating conditions where different connections and perspectives become more accessible.

Many people notice:

increased emotional openness
new perspectives or insights
a sense of connection to self, others, or the natural world
the ability to relate differently to past experiences

From another lens, this can feel like the usual voice of the mind quiets, making space for other layers of knowing to come forward.

This work opens space for a more direct and compassionate awareness of what is already present within you.
